Display Easels You Can Make Quickly and Cheaply

Here's an easel design that is perfect for displaying things in a showcase.  I have thought for a long time that I needed to buy some little easels.  Over at the "Mini Matisse" blog, Nicole Hahn shows an extremely simple easel design that one of her students came up with on the fly.  I love it!  And best of all, they're relatively free!

So head on over to Mini Matisse to get the info.

P.S.  Congrats to Nicole on being nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year!  Woo hoo!!!

Art Show Banner

This was over at "Painted Paper."  I love what this teacher does with paint!  Here's a gorgeous banner.  I may have to do something inspired by that for Youth Art Month.

Color Wheel Self Portraits

Clever!  Here's an original display!  Check out the blog, ElementaryArtFun.

Kindergarten Wood Block Collages

This was intended as a piece of art for auction and not a bulletin board, but it certainly could function as one.
